September, the month of Monsoon in Shenzhen, but for PKUSZ students it’s the month of parties, beach trips and agonizing quizzes and midterms. At the same time it’s also the period when new PKUSZ international students meet up with their Chinese buddies and CAs (Campus Advisors). So in order to keep the tradition alive, this year on 24

September PKUSZ once again arranged a CA Introductory Meeting for the new international students, where they met their CAs, who are young and cooperative Chinese students; studying at different schools of Peking University’s Shenzhen Campus.
This event included international students from different countries who were eager to meet their Campus Advisors and learn from them about campus life, day to day campus and dormitory issues, language tips and most importantly about different parts of China and how to commute over there. Campus Advisors gave brief presentations about the most beautiful, mystical and interesting destinations to visit in China, in addition to this they also shared some useful tips about the food, language, culture and travel modes used for these cities.
The CA event was very successful where international students shared contacts with their CA’s and mingled with them over some after-session snacks and drinks. Like always the administration at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School has left no stones unturned to facilitate its student body and will hopefully continue to maintain its stature in China and in the international academia.
