Former Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Federation visits PKU Shenzhen

On March 1st, Vice-President of Moscow State University and former Deputy Prime-Minister of Russia, Mr. Sergey Shakharai with his entourage visited Peking University Shenzhen. He was accompanied by the Vice-Mayor of Shenzhen, Tang Jie and the Deputy Secretary of Shenzhen Government Huang Guoqiang. Party Secretary of Shenzhen Graduate School and Executive Vice-Chancellor and Party Secretary Bai Zhiqiang, Vice-Chancellor Niu Hongwei, Dean of School of Environment and Energy Cheng Jiayang and Dean of School of Advanced Materials Pan Feng received him at PKU Shenzhen.
Mr. Shakharai visited the newly opened academic building of PHBS and was given a walkthrough of the facility by Party Secretary Bai Zhiqiang. He was also informed of the progress the graduate school has made especially in terms of internationalization. He also met international students from Russia presently studying at Peking University HSBC Business School who shared their experiences of studying in China.
