On November 26, 2014, 15:00 to 17:00, The 5th PKU Shenzhen Annual Field Day Games were held in PKU Shenzhen Track and Field. The Field Day Games began with an opening parade of all the colleges and team from the Administrative department.
Every college team gave a creative performance. The students from SCBB performed the dance “Little Apple”, SEE students combined a Spanish-style dance with cheerleading and won great applause, the administrative departments gave a dynamic and rhythm-filled performance to "Get Me Bodied" by Beyonce, bringing the most applause to the opening parade. After all the college teams were in place, our sponsor Yoobao gave a motorized unicycle show for everyone, the wonderful performance gave us an eye-opening look. Then, the Executive Vice President Zhiqiang Bai declared the official beginning of the Field Day Games.
The first event was a competitive “catch the pig” race in which all of the school leaders were supposed to run to the finish line in the shortest time possible, all the while pushing the basketball along with a badminton racket towards the finishing line. For all the students, there were five competitions they could participate in: tug-of-war, jump rope, a relay race, three-legged race and a pass-the-hula-hoop game.
At the end of the games, SCBB won the first place with the highest score of 194, followed by PHBS, with the total score was 192, and SUPD coming in third place.
A full summary of the scores can be seen in the following chart:
