Students, Faculty and Staff Members Welcome The Year Of The Horse Together

On January 30th, all the faculty, staff members and students who stayed on campus during the Spring Festival break got together and celebrated spring festival on Chinese New Year’s eve. School leaders Luan Shengji, An Xiaopeng and Ren Ting participated in the celebration. Secretary of the Institute Party Committee and executing vice-president of PKU Shenzhen Bai Zhiqiang conveyed his blessings via telephone to the jovial group of teachers, students and staff members present on the occasion.

Vice-Secretary An Xiaopeng gave new year’s blessings to all the staff members who stayed back during the vacation to fulfill their duties and wished the students a life of prosperity and success. She also hopes for concerted development of Peking University in the coming years through the efforts of the united campus community and wished for increasing internationalization of PKU Shenzhen. This was followed by the dinner.

Reportedly, this was enjoyed by more than 50 students and staff members staying on campus during the winter break. The dinner was the culmination of a range of student activities organized by PKU Shenzhen to spread the spirit of the year of the horse to everyone staying on campus.
