WHAT IS THE HULT PRIZE?
The Hult Prize is a start-up accelerator for budding young entrepreneurs emerging from the world's universities. Named as one of the top five ideas changing the world by U.S. President Bill Clinton and TIME Magazine, the annual competition for the Hult Prize aims to create and launch the most compelling social business ideas--start up enterprises that tackle grave issues faced by billions of people. Winners receive USD 1 Million in seed capital, as well as mentorship and advice from the international business community.
THE HULT PRIZE AT PHBS:
This year for the first time, Peking University HSBC Business School has been chosen as one of the top universities to host its on-campus first round event. The winning team of the first round will be going to Shanghai in March 2016 to represent Peking University in the regional finals.
2016 CHALLENGE: CROWDED URBAN SPACES
This year the challenge is to double the income of 10 million people living in crowded spaces in the next five years through better connecting people, capital, goods, and services. More information about the challenge can be found in this PDF. Form a team and get a chance to network and compete with students from universities such as Harvard University, MIT, INSEAD, etc.
