On January 20, 2025, as the Year of the Snake approaches, Zhang Jin, Standing Committee Member of the CPC Committee, Vice President of Peking University and Chancellor of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, led a team to visit faculty, staff and students who are maintaining essential positions or staying on campus during the Spring Festival. The visit was accompanied by Tan Wenchang, Party Secretary of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, Niu Hongwei, Vice Chancellor, An Xiaopeng, Deputy Party Secretary and Discipline Inspection Secretary, Chen Jiaojiao, Chancellor's Assistant and Director of the Two Offices (Party and Mass Affairs Office), along with heads of relevant departments and schools.
During the visit, Zhang Jin and his team went to the dormitories to check on the building maintenance staff and students staying on campus. He had cordial conversations with the students, carefully inquiring about their research and study progress, listening to them share details about their campus life during the holiday, reminding them about safety precautions, and delivering festive gift packages filled with good wishes to each student. The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the school's caring attention.
