On December 4, 2025, sunlight bathed the Nanyan Campus. To mark the 24th anniversary of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, enrich the cultural life of its faculty and staff, promote wellness, and bolster team cohesion, the trade union organized the "Vibrant Nanyan Campus, Uniting to Create the Future" faculty walking event. The activity commenced warmly at the PKU sports ground, where nearly 350 faculty members gathered with determined strides and radiant enthusiasm, collectively painting a vibrant Nanyan tableau woven from shimmering lakes, lush greenery, shared laughter, and light perspiration.

Team Spirit in Motion
Zhang Jin declared the official start of the event. Distinguished guests and faculty members inaugurated the event by walking one lap around the track with uniformed steps and high spirits. Participants were then divided into ten teams by T-shirt color and set off in an orderly procession behind their flag bearers. On the red runway, the procession moved as a continuous, rhythmically unified stream, embodying a solemn yet fervent atmosphere. This segment not only infused the event with a profound sense of ceremony but also symbolized the shared resolve of the entire college community to advance in unison into a new phase of development.

The route began at the PKU sports ground, winding along the scenic Qilin Villa lakeside path, past the hills behind the Talent Development Academy, and through the Xili Lake Greenway (Wenshan Dieshui section), before looping back to the start. Participants were accompanied by captivating landscapes of lakes and hills, their journey interwoven with continuous conversation and laughter. This walk was more than a physical traversal; it was a meeting of minds. The collection of route stamps served not merely as markers of completion but as tangible tokens of the warm commitment to "walk in step with the college, never pausing."
