December 13 witnessed an electrifying atmosphere at the Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) Activity Center, where the crisp sounds of table tennis rallies filled the air. The 2025 Shenzhen College Students Table Tennis Competition concluded successfully after intense and thrilling matches. Co-organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau and the Shenzhen Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports Bureau, this event served as a concentrated showcase of the competitive sports level among Shenzhen's higher education institutions. The Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School team competed with high morale, a rigorous style, and a tenacious fighting spirit. Through steady and determined performances in multiple rounds of high-intensity matches, they achieved the results: second place in the women's team event and fourth place in the men's team event.

The competition has concluded, but the story of passion and striving has just begun. In this tournament, we witnessed steady strength in favorable situations and, more importantly, saw the resilience of spirit in adversity. From the women's team's composure when facing formidable opponents to the men's team's determined shouts fighting for every point in decisive games, every drop of sweat that fell on the HIT Shenzhen gymnasium courts nourished the Peking University spirit that "a complete character finds its foundation first in sports."
Stepping off the podium, everything returns to zero. The silver medal and the semifinal finish are not merely badges of honor but also bugle calls to march forward. The Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School table tennis team will carry these precious memories from the competition back to the training hall, continuing to hone their skills and temper their minds.
