Qin E reported on the athletes' training progress. He fully affirmed the outstanding performance of all athletes during the nearly two months of training and expressed gratitude to the Graduate Student Union’s Sports Department for its strong support in pre-competition training and event preparation. He also thanked the veteran athletes who have participated multiple times, noting that they are the backbone of the team, and encouraged everyone to strive valiantly on the field and win more honors for SGS.

Xie Beichen, a master’s student of the Class of 2022 from the School of Transnational Law, and Weszely Bence Tamás, a master’s student of the Class of 2025 from the HSBC Business School, spoke on behalf of all athletes. Representing returning and new athletes respectively, they expressed gratitude for the care and support from all parts of SGS. They reviewed their preparation journey: Chinese students proactively assisted in translation and explained training key points, while international students integrated novel techniques into daily practice. From initial gesture‑based communication to today's seamless coordination, language barriers have gradually dissolved through repeated sprints and side‑by‑side efforts, vividly showcasing the unity and internationally oriented character of SGS. They noted that despite their diverse backgrounds, they share the same goal and fight side by side, determined to give their best and aim for a thirteenth consecutive championship.
