PKUSZ Hosts Economics and Finance Panel of 8th Nanshan Academic Forum

On the cold but sunny morning of 19th December 2015, PKU Shenzhen Graduate School in collaboration with Tsinghua University Shenzhen Graduate School, HIT Graduate School and Chinese Academy of Sciences, proudly hosted the Economics and Finance Panel of 8th Nanshan Academic forum of Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Doctoral Students.

The forum comprises of six panels, namely:
  1. Economics and Finance Panel
  2. Biological Science Panel
  3. Internet and Information Technology Panel
  4. New Energy and Material Panel
  5. Humanity and Law Panel
  6. Entrepreneurship and Industry Panel 
The Economics and Finance Panel was accommodated by Economic Development and Reform Association of Peking University, and concentrated on the academic research and discussion of Economics, Finance and Management.
 
The annual forum is an event that is held to encourage doctoral candidates to present their work at this prestigious platform. The pivotal driver behind this forum is the Association of Science in Nanshan district. The Forum focuses on broadening knowledge and sharing latest research findings for future benefits. Keeping in the mind the Technological advancement aspect of Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, the forum encourages future scholars to collaborate with the scholars and leaders of this region. Moreover it also encourages academic and cultural communication and cooperation among the academia of this region.
 
Doctoral candidates from various Chinese Universities namely Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, National Sun Yat-Sen University, Huazhong Agricultural University, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, North West Agricultural and Forestry University and South China Agricultural University participated and presented their research on the platform of this forum.
 
During the session doctoral candidates were queried by the head panelists regarding their research and why they chose a particular topic. The forum concluded on score calculation, followed by an excellent work exhibition.
