At the Laboratory Animal Center of the School of Chemical Biology and Biotechnology, visitors gained an in-depth understanding of the living environments and research purposes of laboratory animals. Volunteers, through vivid explanations, guided the audience to contemplate the ethics and values behind life sciences research. The VR simulation area attracted many visitors who queued up for the experience. A young child from a local kindergarten excitedly shared after the experience: "After putting on the VR equipment, it felt like I really entered a laboratory and could operate the instruments myself. It was so much fun!" An accompanying parent, Ms. Shen, remarked: "This kind of experience makes scientific knowledge vivid and three-dimensional. The Pickleball Courts and Student Activity Center together showcased the vibrancy of life at PKU Shenzhen. On the standard pickleball courts, volunteer coaches patiently taught basic moves, and visitors participated actively in a lively atmosphere. The sight of students on the sports fields allowed visitors to feel the vibrant energy on campus. "Seeing university students enjoying such rich sports activities alongside their studies gives me a deeper understanding of Peking University's educational philosophy of 'a fully rounded character, starting with sports'," said a teacher from a local primary school after trying pickleball. "A child's growth shouldn't be limited to book knowledge; well-rounded development is equally crucial." The well-equipped facilities and lively atmosphere in the Student Activity Center gave visitors a firsthand feel for the diverse and colorful campus culture at PKU. Notably, members of the PKU Shenzhen Jiaolong Rowing Team, who had just won the annual championship of the fourth "X9 Alliance" Rowing League, were also present, guiding visitors through rowing motions and rowing machine exercises, pushing the on-site atmosphere to a peak.
